Initial field testing was performed near our home office in Ohio. The new 18-9-18 Nutri DG dispersing granule was applied side-by-side with a competitors SGN100 homogenous product on Bent greens. Following application of 3.56 pounds of product (per 1000 square feet), the greens were irrigated for 5 minutes.
Following the irrigation, the turf was visually evaluated for particulates, as well as evaluations of ball pick-up, player shoe pick-up and mower pick-up. The results of each are visually shown below:
Then for the ball roll test. Balls were rolled for 10 feet along the greens surface and evaluated for ball pick-up. The images are shown below:

The fun work was with the mower pickup study. Shortly after running the other two studies, we mowed the turf with the hoppers attached to collect the clippings. See the results for yourself:
